The Discovered in MunJang Magazine

The Discovered is now available to read (in Korean) online for free in Munjang Magazine! The 65 page comic was an outcome of the Storytelling City Uk/Korean exchange I was involved with earlier this year and uses as it's medium embroidery, pressed flowers, graphite drawings and fire. The story is by Korean writer Soyeon Jeong.

Storytelling City Exhibition in Seoul

Here are some pictures of my work in the recent Storytelling City Exhibition at The Gallery in Hongdae. I produced the embroideries and drawings for an online comic in collaboration with the science fiction short story writer Soyeon Jeong.

The project was funded by the British Council in Korea and Arts Council Korea and organised by the Bradford Literature Festival and the Wow Book Festival

A Thousand Coloured Castles

My new graphic novel 'A Thousand Coloured Castles' will be published in April 2017 by Myriad Editions.

The story follows Myriam, a woman who sees things a little differently from most people. When she becomes suspicious about some of the goings-on next door she struggles to be taken seriously by those around her. Myriam however is determined to investigate and enlists the help of her four-year-old grandson, Jack, who is more than happy to see things her way.

My New Graphic Novel Awarded Grant From The Arts Council of England

I'm very pleased to be able to announce that my forthcoming graphic novel, which is to be published by Myriad Editions has been awarded an Arts Council of England Grant. Watch this space over the next few months for the first images, but for now I should probably just get on with it....

Big thanks to Nicola Streeten, Corinne Pearlman, Nye Wright and Ian Williams for their help and support.

The Black Project included in Comics Unmasked Exhibition at The British Library

Comics Unmasked - Art and Anarchy in the UK at The British Library is the largest ever exhibition of UK comics, and I'm very pleased that a linocut and an embroidery from The Black Project, as well as a copy of the original small press zine have been included in the show.

The exhibition runs until the 19th August and is an absolute must for anyone interested in comics, social history and underground publishing.

The Land of my Heart Chokes on its Abundance

I'm finally ready to preview a few pages from my new comic 'The Land of my Heart Chokes on its Abundance', a wordless, psychedelic, semi-pornographic, monoprinted sci-fi epic about human arrogance brought low.
